The neighbourhood of Old North
The close proximity to the University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College makes Old North the home base for all kinds of professionals and academics. The grand homes also attract families and other professionals. There are wonderful schools in the area including Ryerson Public School, St. George’s Public School, and Central High School. The Richmond Gates entrance to the University of Western Ontario and the stunning St. Peter’s Seminary are also within the boundaries of Old North.
 
The landscaped extra wide-boulevard on Wellington Street is a great way to explore the beautiful homes in this special neighbourhood. The neighbourhood also connects with the City’s extensive bike trails. The wonderful Gibbons Park is also in the area with it’s splash pad, public pool, play structures, and lots of green space. This great park is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
 
Old North is within walking distance to downtown. However, if a casual fine dining is what you are looking for head over to The Bungalow at the corner of Cheapside & Waterloo. They serve one of the best burgers in town and is wonderful place to hang out with neighbours or meet new ones! The United Supermarket on Adelaide is also a treasure for Asian food lovers. All sorts of wonderful ingredients and fresh products can be sourced here.
Old North is one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in London. In this neighbourhood you will find homes built between the late 1800’s through the 1940’s. There are all sorts of Victorian, Tudor, and Georgian style homes. The lots are generous and the neighbourhood takes great pride in their homes. The area covers north of Oxford Street, west of Adelaide and the Thames River on the North and West.

Old North is also close to all amenities for everyday shopping, banking, and other routine tasks. It is easy to get to all parts of London from Old North. This wonderful family friendly neighbourhood should not be missed!
