Piccadilly

The neighbourhood of Piccadilly
Some of the City’s most eclectic cafes are located within the Piccadilly neighbourhood.
  • Locomotive Espresso 408 Pall Mall Street – this newly opened café features highly trained baristas serving up amazing coffee from Pilot Roasters and a Toast Bar!
  • The Bag Lady 474 Pall Mall Street @ Maitland – this wonderful café is housed in a vintage variety store. It features delicious breakfast and lunch in a setting that is cozy and warm. And they feature the best brownies in town. This place is not to be missed!
  • Neighbourhood Schools include: St. George’s Public School, Lord Roberts French Immersion Public School, Central High School, Beal High School….all great schools!
  • Also, very close to Piccadilly is Sunripe Marketplace. Sunripe features beautiful local fresh produce, deli products, butcher shop, and delicious baked goods all in a enjoyable shopping environment.
Piccadilly is a small jewel in the heart of our City. The boundaries are Adelaide Street to the East, Richmond Street to the West, Oxford Street to the North, and Central Ave to the South. The homes are mostly yellow brick and feature some really interesting stained glass and woodwork. This tight knit community is filled with young families along with older professionals.

Piccadilly is home to Piccadilly Park built by the local Siskinds The Law Firm. The park has public tennis courts and a great play structure with swings for young kids. It’s also a pretty hot spot for tobogganing with small kids in the winter (bigger kids are happier at Doidge park about 6 blocks north!).
